Cryptopia has been allegedly suffered from another hack, just 15 days after the initial attack. The exchange is believed to lose an additional 1,675 ETH.
The data firm Elementus provided information showing that Cryptopia had no longer had control of their ETH wallets. The attackers have allegedly moved the funds from 17,000 Cryptopia wallets. Among the affected wallets, over 5,000 wallets were emptied in the original hack, but have since been topped up.
The data firm believed this attack was carried out by the same hackers as the funds were transferred to the address used in the initial hack.
Cryptopia remains silent. The exchange announced the security breach on Jan 14 and put the site under maintenance to assess damages.
