Blockchain Connect Conference 2019 is Aiming to Add More Academic Value to the Blockchain Space

On Jan 11, 2019, the Blockchain Connect Conference: Academic 2019 will officially take place on at Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Francisco, California. Hosted by SV Insight, this bi-annual event will include keynote speeches and panels covering topics from research to application, the conference will explore the next big opportunity in the blockchain industry.

The conference will be divided into two tracks: an academic track and a business track.

The academic track will focus on academic discussions, mainly led by professors, scholars, and blockchain core developers, who will bring the most cutting-edge academic and technical sharing. The business track will focus on industrial applications, mainly led by the heads of the enterprise blockchain research, investors and entrepreneurs, who will bring the analysis of the current scientific research and venture capital.

This conference will gather the most authoritative blockchain professors around the world, the public chain projects with the most advanced technology, and technical experts, to discuss the most cutting-edge blockchain academic research, problems, and solutions. Vitalik Buterin – Co-founder of Ethereum and as a co-founder of Bitcoin Magazine.

Dawn Song – Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley, co-founder of Oasis Labs.

Mic Bowman – Principal Engineer at Intel Labs and Research Lead in the Distributed Ledger Research Group.

Elaine Shi – Associate Professor of Computer Science at Cornell University, co-founder of IC3 and Thunder Token.
