Ankr Teamed Up With Optimism to Offer RPC Solution With Speed & Reliability

Ankr – a firm offering one-click node deployment and Web3 infrastructure – reportedly revealed its new partnership to be a remote procedure call provider for Optimism.

Specifically, Optimism reportedly functions as an open-source Layer 2 scaling service for Ethereum, which supports speed and efficient transactions throughout the network. It has been in the radar of numerous key players in the past months, including Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.

Ankr has reportedly provided assistance to a variety of industry leaders like Solana and Avalanche. via operating their blockchains with an enhanced speed, enabling streamlined Web3 experiences throughout the world.

“Adding Ankr as an infrastructure provider helped fulfil the desires of our community members who want to build with robust and reliable services. Apps and integrations choose to build in our ecosystem because they feel aligned with our values and appreciate the breadth of tooling and technical options available to them.” Matthew Slipper, Head of Engineering at OP Labs, additionally remarked. 

The freshly formed alliance will reportedly make it possible for dApp engineers from different places throughout the globe to tap into Optimism’s public and premium RPCs. 

“We love what Optimism is building for the future of Ethereum. Ankr is happy to do our part to provide a fast and reliable RPC service for their users,” Greg Gopman, the Chief Marketing Officer at Ankr, further remarked. 

Ankr further revealed its plan to offer incentive for independent Optimism node operators to include their nodes in the load balancer, in return for ANKR tokens.

In November last year, Ankr Network co-founder and CEO Chandler Song wrote about multichain technology as a necessity for the future of DeFi products. At the time, he claimed that initiatives that facilitate numerous chains gather audiences on a bigger scale and increase their liquidity.
