Trading under the ticker symbol EXOD, the Exodus Class A common stock is reportedly represented in a digital manner via the Algorand blockchain, using common stock tokens.

As revealed by an Exodus representative, Securitize Markets is the second trading venue finalizing the listing of Exodus shares, following its introduction on tZero in September last year.

The new listing on Securitize reportedly makes it possible for the company to attract an additional number of new retail investors, as well as reeling in capital injection.

“Securitize’s platform enabled us to onboard over 6,800 mostly retail investors and raise $75 million. Now, with the trading of Exodus shares on their platform, it’s all under one roof. We are very excited about the increased ability to trade our shares.” JP Richardson – co-founder and Head of Exodus – additionally remarked.

Previously, Exodus successfully acquired $75 million through a mini initial public offering sale, which was greenlit by the US SEC in May last year. The SEC previously registered the Securitize platform as a transfer agent three years ago.

A few key players in the crypto sphere reportedly threw their weights behind the digital securities platform, nominally Coinbase, Morgan Stanley investment funds, and Blockchain Capital.

“Now that Exodus shares are available for retail investors to trade on Securitize Markets, a bigger market for their shares, price discovery and liquidity potential has been created, and this should be an example to many other private businesses that want to raise capital from their community,” Head of Securitize Carlos Domingo additionally shared.
