The NFTs will reportedly come with different images, nominally artist portraits and album art, along with digital sound sources like full-length albums.

Yat Siu, the chief executive of Animoca Brands, reportedly revealed that he is highly anticipated towards initiating the working process with Cube to “make the open metaverse a reality.”

Per Animoca, the collaboration will reportedly allow for “true digital property rights and other blockchain benefits” for both the artists on Cube’s roster and their supporters.

Ahn Woo Hyung – Head of Cube – reportedly remarked that the partnership will mark “an important beginning for leading the global digital culture market and advancing the digital content industry.”

Cube is reportedly having under their management approximately 50 K-pop artists, including BtoB, Pentagon, (G)I-DLE and Lightsum.

Siu has reportedly been highlighting the disruptive form of ownership NFTs bring about, previously likening the effect of nonfungible tokens on the development of property rights to the Renaissance in early-modern Europe in July last year.

Animoca has reportedly been associated with a variety of key milestones in the development of NFTs, having made investments in Dapper Labs.
