Ripple’s Xpring Established Community-focused “Developer Relation” Forum

By Natalie Wu | February 3, 2020

Ripple-developed Xpring will reportedly establish a community-focused website and communication online hub, which will be widely known as the “developer relations” forum.

As specified on February 1st by a majority of Ripple’s human resources, from the team in charge of engineering and product development, regarding the post “We think of DevRel as the ears and mouth of Xpring,”, on the company’s web page.

Xpring was initially created to handle the investment-related businesses of Ripple. In October last year, Ripple also introduced an Xpring developer platform – a tool that supports creators in money digitalization.

A few months later, in December 2019 specifically, Ripple has announced the additional upgrades for the platform, including SDK, which will amp up the compatibility feature for programmers’ apps.

Xpring primarily looks to provide developers with effective materials, nominally sample code and tutorials. Organizing conferences and offering technical support also came up in the blog post, to contribute to the same goal of bringing up the engagement level from the community around the Xpring platform.

Towards the end of 2019, Xpring has reportedly also made several investments into a wide array of business prospects, including Bread wallet and Swedish startup Towo Labs.
