Recent insights reportedly suggested that Australian crypto investors at an older age range dwarf the new generation, initial investment-wise, but the younger crowd trades more actively on a day-to-day basis.

Specifically, The average portfolio size on Australian cryptocurrency exchange BTC Markets reportedly witnessed an increase, going from $577.65 (795.5 Australian dollars) to $2,069.16 (2849.5 AUD) during the 2021 fiscal year, indicating a 258.2% surge in terms of portfolio holdings.

According to Insights inferred from a BTC Markets survey conducted by Statista lately, the average portfolio size of female and male investors in fiscal 20-21 on BTC Markets reportedly stood at $1,924.30 (2,650 AUD) and $2,214.03 (3,049 AUD) respectively.

While investors in Australia with a higher age significantly beat the younger generation in terms of initial investment, the latter showed a more active record when it comes to daily trades.
